Overview
Description
This event is coorganised by two Luxembourgish associations, Jazz Break and Knowedge. The aim of this very special event is to bring together the Jazz and House dance communities and to explore the continuum of African American descendant dances (from Jazz to House), their common origin as well as their distinctive characters. Special guest, Diego Odd Sweet will inspire you with his workshops, while both teams Jazz Break and Knowedge will introduce you to the basics of Jazz and House Dancing.
Travel notes
What to know
Luxembourg is a charming city that offers a unique blend of medieval architecture and modern culture, making it an ideal destination for a festival trip. In September, the weather is usually mild, with a mix of sunny and rainy days, so it's a good idea to pack layers and waterproof gear. The closest airports are Luxembourg Findel Airport and nearby airports in France and Germany, with various transportation options available to the city center. Local costs for accommodation, food, and transport are generally moderate to high. To plan your trip, consider booking your accommodation and flights in advance to avoid higher prices. Additionally, research local transportation options, such as buses or bike rentals, to get around the city and to the Schluechthaus venue.
