Overview
Description
A cozy winter balboa weekend in the heart of Warsaw, now in its 9th edition. Our guests are Laura & Francesco from Rome, joined as always by Ania & Rafał.
8 themed classes on two levels, intermediate-advanced and advanced. Take as many as you like: a single class for 29 €, a full level of 4 classes for 108 €, or all 8 for 193 €.
Three parties: a Friday warm-up, the Saturday Fast Feet Party with a taster and a surprise competition, and a Sunday social. Classes and the Saturday party share one venue, so you only need one address to plan your stay around.
Travelling in? January is the cheapest month to fly to Warsaw and hotels are at low-season prices. Need a place to stay? Tell us when you register and we will try to find you a local host.
Book 4+ classes by 31 October and the Saturday party is free. A 50 € deposit secures your place.
Registration is open!
Travel notes
What to know
Warsaw has two airports, so check which one you're booking. Chopin (WAW) is in the city, 20–30 minutes from the centre. Some low-cost flights land at Modlin (WMI), about 40 km north, with direct buses and trains into town. From Chopin, an Uber or Bolt to the centre usually costs 8–16 €.
Getting around
Public transport is excellent, and one ticket covers the metro, trams and buses. Buy it in the jakdojade.pl app or from a ticket machine. A 75-minute ticket costs about 1 €. Night buses run after the metro closes, and Uber and Bolt are cheap and reliable.
The venue
The classes and the Saturday party are in the same place, in the centre next to the Old Town. The entrance is on the Krasiński Garden side, so you need to walk into the park to reach the building.
Money
Poland uses the złoty, not the euro. Cards and contactless payments are accepted almost everywhere.
Language
Classes are taught in English, and English is widely spoken in the dance scene and around the city centre. Two words that go a long way: dzień dobry (hello) and dziękuję (thank you).
Where to stay
Anywhere central works well. The classes and the Saturday party share one venue, and the rest of the city is easy to reach by tram or metro. Looking for a local host? Mention it in the comment box when you register and we'll try to find you one.
